Our goal is to minimize the amount of time our customers must spend to get the migration completed.
Most of the migration will not require any of your time, except some of the items listed below:
- If you have a very sophisticated, database driven web site, we will more than likely require your assistance to make sure things are working after we have copied your site to our systems. This won't be technical in nature, but we might need you to verify that you can login to your Wordpress, ecommerce or other application appropriately.
- We will need your time to help setup your email clients to check mail on our systems and possibly for helping your other email users do so as well.
- We will need your cooperation and help in setting up a time to flip the switch and migrate the Domain Name Servers (DNS) for your account.
- You and your users will need to sync your Modwest mailboxes to the mailboxes on our system using the secure link we send you. This step is optional, see here for more information. This shouldn't take a user more than 1-2 minutes to complete.
We anticipate the average time it will take from you to successfully help us migrate your account to our systems, to be around 60-90 minutes of your time. This won't be done at once, probably a few minutes here and there throughout the migration process. We will do our best to make sure that your time involvement is as little as possible.
